I just got a flatline for christmas and it wont install properly. I have everything done except when i screw in the barrel adapter, the part of the shroud where the barrel comes through hits the adapter and it wont go down all of the way. What should i do? And also how much would it be to send my gun in and get a R/T installed? thanks,

Did you follow the step by step instructions of the Flatline installation manual?......I bet you didint, tsk tsk tsk, jus remove the 3 bolts on the front end of the marker, screw the adapter in and make sure the the tightening bolt is at the 6 o'clock position (pointing down), screw the 3 bolts back in and yer ready fer the next step.

Installing the mech RT is actually very simple to install, even a kid wit Down Syndrome can install it.....so, jus refer to the installation manual by hittin "support" up above.

Yes I did install the adapter when it was at 6 o'clock. And i also folloed (sp) the instructions well. But its just when i screw in the adapter, it hits the shruod. I got the flatline barrel from countypaintball. it seems like they sent the wrong adapter? I dont know what to do????

The adapter is "not all the way in" and there isnt any other Flatline adapter, it doesnt exist....like I said, screw the adapter all the way in until you get it at the 6 o'clock position.

better idea   sell  flatline purchase bigshot cuz you wont need more than that will provide and it comes at a fraction of the price   then take extra money and buy something purdy

Just screw in the adapter until it fully stops, then turn it back to where it is in as much as possible but still at the six o'clock position. I don't understand why the adapters are made like that. When you put it all together, in between the adapter and the shroud, you should still be able to see part of the barrel(very little).

Yeah, it just seems like the adapter wont go in enough for the shroud to fit in place. I'm going to try what triggerhappy1 said, and i'll see what happens.

haha yes i had a simialr problem when i was putting my flatline on. I did loosen the bolts just not enough. Dont go overboard when loosening or the spring on your front sight will keep popping out liek mine did . Trust me, once you get your flatline on you will think its very sexy, because it is

My Setup:
