i am getting an A5 but in my country we can only fill the tanks with air and not with CO2. if i get the 12oz tank does it matter if i fill it with air instead of CO2? are there any disadvantages?

don't do it!!!! it is not safe! you need to have the right tank for the right air. if you fill a co2 tank with comp. air or nitro it will **blow** so don't do it buy the right tank for the air you are going to use

triggerhappy i have checked in the tippman site for an air tank but i haven;t seen any. they all say CO2 tanks. do u know where exactly i can check out air tanks for tippmann A5? VTpaintballer we have lots of places to fill with CO2 . the problem is that the field we are playing only has compressed air and not CO2. i can't go twice a week somewhere just to fill a tank with CO2! i honeslty did not understand what u meant in your suggestion. did u mean there is a small machine lets call it that can fill a CO2 tank? (like the ones we have to fill car tires with air?)

Any compresses air tanks will work for the A-5. And btw they aren't cheap the one you should get is a crossfire 68/3000 and they are about $150. And that will get you about 700 shots.

Go here http://www.face-full.com/IN_YOUR_FACE.html click "world" and then click "links" when the next page comes up scroll down to "air systems" theres a list of companies that will help in getting the tank that you wish to use and Im sure they will ship internationally to you.

Dont waste money on a 3000, get a 4500 for the extra 50- dollars.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUT HPA OR NITROGEN INTO A C02 CANISTER.  The preasure of HPA/Nitrogen is MUCH greater than C02, therefore your tank will explode if you do.

Whoa! What country are you from? Alot of the European countries have different tank standards than we do. It's illegal to transport or fill a DOT tank in europe. Please check your standards before getting any tank at all.

If you fill a co2 tank with HPA, it will not explode. That is what the burst disk is for. It is pointless though, because you'll only be able to fill up to about 1500-1800psi(depends on your burst disk rating) before you disk goes.

To the thread starter: Just stick with co2 for now.
