you are supposed to push the barrel in all the way untill it stops. It says you can use a rubber mallet to hit it all the way in. Make sure that the adapter is in the six o'clock position. Make sure the little slash on the top of the barrel( the thick part) is lined up with the sight. Make sure the velocity is high enough and see if there is anything in any part of the barrel.

also check to see if the velocity is no too high and also remember to see if your holding your gun straight and not at an angle. This will help you adjust your velocity more acurately. Otherwise the guy above me listed everything else

Double firing? I don't think anyone addressed that. Check the ball latch. Oil the CVX valve. Make sure rear bolt isn't binding. Are there any x-chambers or regs on it?

Double firing sounds like yer running low on air.

As fer installing the Flatline barrel itself....shimmy it (wiggle) till the the other end of the barrel is sittin inside of the adapter and as robocop mentioned....use that lil notch on top of the muzzle break to make the necessary adjustments (do not use the front sight of the shroud, it will throw you off) and make sure yer using small bore paint when you play and when yer making any adjustments to yer marker.

Fer more details in using the Flatline, ckick and read this

That's what I was thinking. The Flatty wouldn't make it double fire.

are you using hpa? does he have the rt? the first time i tried my hpa tank my rt was turned up pretty high. every few shots i got uncontrolable bounce. my finger was off the trigger, but it was cycleing and shooting paint. it seems like hpa for some reason has more recoil which that and the rt created  more bounce. with my rt lowered i still get occasional double shots. so turn the rt down if you have it and your using hpa. check for the ball latch too.

The first time I saw this topic on the forum I was goin to ask about the antichop, but then again I don't really chop any balls. I'd like to know how it works and how you made it.

Itai, what kind of spring did you use? I've tried twice and just managed to murder some front bolts. I can't find a way to stabilize the spring, or a spring that is light enough to compress down to an 1/8" inch then extend to 1 7/8" inches.

i just found the perfect spring! its from an a very cheap airsoft pistol. its the spring that pushes the slide forward. it was a tiny bit too thin, but i widened and shortened it. heres the dimensions- about 5cm long, compresses to about 1/2cm, and the wire is a bit less than 1mm and looks like small to medium guage. im going to try the anti-chop mod this weekend, i dont see why it wouldnt work, but ill give you the results.

The double feeding could be a product of the anti-chop. Maybe the spring isnt strong enough and the bolt isnt closing fast enough. I dont know... the ball latch should catch that, but maybe thats missing or worn out.
