Empire Revolution (Revvy ) ,or the Empire ReLoader , the revvy has got eyes in the feed neck , and the ReLoader is sound activated , Your choice , but in my book , both of these hoppers are the biggest "Bang" for your buck . I got the Ricochet Apache loader for my 98 , and my advice to you , is stay away from it , the response time is slow, and will give you more chops than the revvy at near its upper limit . I havent shot a rig with the ReLoader , but , those I trust have , and its performance is just as good as the revvy . |

you should defiinatly get the Empire reloader. You can get them cheaper than a Revvy if you shop and its faster and............ its EMPRIRE!!!!!! But its up to you, good luck.

It doesnt really matter, 1 good shake of the hopper and the balls will feed into the neck. |

The reloader is more consistant...Rather then spinning when it detects a mis-feed like a revy, it spins every shot and stopping the missfeeds before they happen. Therefore less chops. It does take a little more juice then Revys, but not much.

It would depend on how fast he would be shooting, if he has any mods to
his gun such as an response trigger, or e-grip, then a force fed hopper
such as a View Loader eVLution 2 (commonly known as an Egg 2) which is
around $70 would be best. But if he's shooting just a normal mech
trigger with no mechanical/electronical assistance to make him shoot
faster, then an agitated hopper such as the View Loader Revolution
(Revvy) would be best, because he probably won't outshoot that.
Now the kinds of batteries (12v, 9v), and the kind of board is up to
your friend.

Why get a revvy when you can get an egg for like 15 dollars more. If he ever upgrades from a 98C to something with a decent board he will outshoot a revvy. Spend a little more but save a lot more in the end to get a halob/reloaderb/egg.

Halo hoppers are nice, and not as expensive as some other crazy ones with digital displays. They aren't loud either. The thing I did, was I lubed up my normal hopper and now the paintballs slide instead of having to be agitated by a swift thump to the bottom of my gun.
