i am wondering how fast does the trilogy pro, the sport, and the comp. shoot. and, would anybody recomend this gun to me? a lot of problems with the gun? I have a 98 custom and have taken it apart a few times, but i am not that great at that stuff. Also, can electronic guns with 3-shot burst, 6-shot burst, and full-auto, can those guns be used in a paintball tourny? i have a team, and we want to start playing against other teams in comps. someday. If you can, recomend some good markers thanks.

no only semi automatic is allowed in torunies, your best bet would be uppin to an A5.

Most markers that have those options are spyder/ spyder clones. I would stay away from those. The bps of those are probably somewhere around 7. Basically how fast you can pull the trigger. I have no experience with these though. Id reccomend a regular vert feed cocker. You will gain alot of experience by tinkering with a cocker. Educate yourself prior to buying and you will have minimal problems. You could always upgrade your 98. I would get the cocker though. 03's are going for cheap on ebay. I bought mine new for 250$.

Good Luck. PM me if you feel the need.

No, you cannot use and burst shots or any auto in tournaments. Only semi in tournaments. And my friend just bought a Trilogy sport and it is not electric. But they are pretty sweet. Sometimes they come with a quatinum hopper. They suck go buy a 5 dollar for it. Also, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE MANUAL VERY CAREFULLY because my friend didn't and he put the bolt back in upside down and his gun would shoot like 5 feet. Anther time he didn't screw something in all the way and his gun chopped alot of balls. But when you follow the directions for your gun, it is very easy to use. The trilogy's are also very east to field strip.

i was not sure about the trilogy anyway, but how fast can a vertical feed autococker shoot? i have seen impy's in tourny's, why is that? cant they just shut the electronics off, and keep it on semi-auto?

impys are electric guns...electric guns even the ones with different modes can be used in turneys they just have to be set to SEMI auto...

autocockers can shoot faster than most mechs and if you eblade it it can keep up with all other markers...

i can shoot my mech cocker faster than most people can shoot impys and trixes at the local field (they have sloppy trigger jobs)

i have owned 3 autocockers so far, the trilogy is by far the easiest to maintain but is the least upgradeable it can get up around 13 bps so i would definitely buy one

if you want to eventually eblade, it would be cheaper to just save $500 and buy one used now. it will be more expensive down the road if u wait...

Tybmx2006 u do not deserve to be on a team, with your very minimal knowledge of paintball.  Are u and your friends just a group of kids who call yourselves a "team?"  U guys really do not qualify as a team if u have never played in a single tourny.

electro guns can be used in tournys, however you cannot have 3 shot burst and full auto. you must tourny lock them so they are only semi-auto. hope i helped
