anybody got feedback on nixing the oil lube and going with a dry lubricant? like graphite or something. ive heard of it somewhere but cant seem to find info. supposed to cut down on the collection of debris in the receiver with junk not sticking to the wet oil.

graphite is for lubrication.

Oil in the gun is for lubrication AND sealing.

Don't use graphite.  It is a bit too abrasive on softer parts.  Guys in the desert (Operation Iraqi Freedom) were having problems because of this.  Check out the product made by Sentry Solutions for good dry lubes.
