    Posted: 16 January 2005 at 3:09pm
Im looking to get a N2 tank and ive picked a 92 ci 4500psi crossfire tank set for 800psi output.

All the remotes ive found have been 3000psi remotes, does this mean i cant use a 4500 psi tank with it? im very confused someone help me.

You are fine. The tank OUTPUTS 800 psi, and the Remote will rupture/explode/break/catch fire/etc. if the output is above 3000psi. The capacity (4500 psi, 3000 psi) of the tank is irrelevant.

A 92ci tank is huge, you should reconsider getting such a big tank. A smaller 68ci or 71ci would be just as good.

That remote line will work fine. The output of the tank is around 800-850psi which is much lower then the remoteline's max of 3000psi.

He's getting a remote, which means he will be wearing the tank on his pack, so weight really isn't that big of a deal. Unless you are weak. More air, more shots. You do the math.

I can play more then 5 games on my 68/4500 comp air tank. Unless he wants to play a week at a time on a single tank, the idea of such a big one is kinda stupid, let alone getting a remote.

You will soon see it is much easier to have it on your gun.

me and my friends sometimes have 24 hour long battles wwhile camping in the woods. We sit around and have fun and dont battle the whole day but every once and a while we plan to attack there camp. Its really fun, you need to take turns sleeping and looking out. Plus yes, i am getting a remote so the size shouldnt be that bad.

Last time I was looking at Nitro tanks, the 92ci was only a little bit more, if not the same price of some 72ci tanks.  If he is getting a remote hookup it would be silly to get the smaller tank for the same price.  More bang for his buck.

Yeah your fine. Because the output on the tank is only 800psi and it HPA not N2. Just to let you know.

Technically, that is not true. But in paintball terms, it is.

Exactly, The only reason people call it n2 is because air is 73% nitrogen. The more technical and correct word id HPA High Pressure Air.

I hope you have a harness or a pouch that can hold a tank of that size, if you dont....look at these
