I think that Tippmann should take the A-5 and put in a cheap reliable air regulator built in. I recently bought an A-5 and a 24 ounce air tank and that gun eats oxigen. I know its because of the feeder but perhaps they could make an upgrade availible that can control the feeder with an electric motar. |

First off, you don't by 'air tanks' by weight. They're measured in rpessure and size- such as 3000 PSI 45 Cubic Inches. CO2 tanks are by weight, though I've never seen a 24 ounce one. Second, you won't find a paintball gun that shoots oxygen- it fires either Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen (N2) or high pressure air, which is about 71% nitrogen, 27% oxygen, 1% argon, and the rest a bunch of other stuff... Your idea of a tippmann that comes stock with a regulator isn't a bad one; the proshop should defiinitely offer one, but keep in mind that a lot of people buying tippmanns are newbs who don't have the need or the budget for a regulator... |

well put, brihard
Tippmann markers are made to be customized to YOUR needs. so go out and make the gun you want. personally i ,like many players, dont have the money to go out and buy a HPA tank, so a regulator would be of little use to me. just do what everyone else does and customize! there is a few flaws in your logic ,cornflakes. first off, there is no such thing as a cheap and reliable reg. you can have one or the other, but not both. secondly, you want to make the A-5's hopper motorized? why not just get a 98C and buy an E-loader? cornflakes you either have no idea what you're talking about, dont have a gun,or both.the feeder,if you mean the cyclone feed system, doesnt use extra gas,it uses the excess gas used to cycle the blowback.theres no such thing as an oxygen powered pb gun,its either co2 or HPA.idk which you're talking about, because you said 24 ounce(which applies to co2)air tank(air=HPA).and how would you control the feeder with an electric motor its already powered by blowback gasses.and theres no such thing as a cheap, reliable regulator, like warmonger said, its either one or the other, but tippmann wouldnt put a reg on a gun anyway cuz not everyone wants a reg, tippmanns are made to be customized to your needs.so yah |

Its cool, thats what this forum is all about. To get new people informed and to make a place for the player to come together. Although latly its been alittle off. |
