Cut it off, mod to make it fit a regular hopper.

No. Put bluntly...

Polishing the internals makes the gun more efficient and clean running. It reduces wear and tear on the internal parts.

Oh, ha ha, I was reading your first response and thinking "What is this guy talkin about?"

Oh well, it happens. Honestly though if you want to make your A-5 faster, vert feed it. Contact Jeep 98 Custom because he knows someone who did it and he may be able to get you details on how to do it.

thats cool ill think about it, then i would have to buy a good hopper because if i get it vert feeded, then ill get the WAS board because the problem with the cyclone would be gone. i may wait to see if theres gonna be any updates on the cyclone though.

i heard the vert feed jobs for the A5 go around 100 bucks, then ill need another 100 for a halo or some other extremly fast hopper.

You don't need to shoot more than 18 bps. Anything higher would get you a punch in the face from the ref.

I've thought about looking into the spring tension of the Cyclone, and I've also wanted to try making the Cyclone blades into a softer substance to make them flex more so balls can drop in at higher rates of fire. I also want to figure out how to remove the big metal spike and replace it with the same material, only stiffer.

^ ok i know what yur talkin about except you lost me at the spike thing.  the spring might work, but i dont know how you would find a lighter tension replacement spring.

on the A5og, they had a way to make it faster.  this is for all the lpk users.  they said to replace the low pressure spring with the original high pressure spring, and something about not using the volumizer at all.  im not sure about what i said so heres the link:

can the cyclone go faster?
