my dad wants a gun so he can go with us paintballing. mostly for woodsball. he wants one that works pretty good but isnt expensive and he probably wont be using it that much. hes thinking about a model 98 or pro carbine. what would be the best gun for him to get?
98 custom(stock, just got it)
soon to get new barrle, expasion chamber, and maybe a double trigger.

Pro/Carbine.  Better without mods and low maintnence between uses.

Carbine.  Low maintanece, Easy maintance, BEST out of box Tipmann, Light, low profile, TOUGHEST Tippmann EVER MADE,  And comfortable /fun to use.

I'd go with the pro-carbine.  Great fun in the woods, plus you can run over it with a truck and it will still work.

yeah u can run over basically anything with a truck and it will still work.  on some nicer guns the anno might get messed up if its in rocks or sumthing tho.

ive used 98's, carbines, and a-5 and if ur dad doesnt plan on playing often id go with a carbine they are beasts. my friends had his for 3-5 years and has never cleaned it or takin it apart and it still shoots like new!!!
