I am set on replacing my 98c with an a-5, but i am unsure whether to go
with an r/t or an egrip. I play recreational woodsball, but am not a
sniper, and want to try out for the tournament team next year at
Georgia Tech. The egrip does everything the r/t does, but is it worth
the extra $50? thanks in advance for the help.

I have a RT for my A-5 and I love it. I like to play when its rainy and wet and having no eletrical parts on my gun is nice when its pouring down the rain. If you plan on playing tourny's you should check the rules because some do allow the use of RT, if they don't then you should go for the Egrip.

E-grip is great -- but unless you get really crafty with the shrinkwrap, you can't do much to waterproof the grip. You should be okay in normal rain -- I've never had any issues -- but I'd stay outta the pond |

i have a response trigger, and i am happy with it. The only reason i would back away from the e-grip is that i wouldn't wanna risk getting it damged from the weather conditions....
