heres what i got in my a-5
shocktech superfly bolt
dead on xcore 8 stage expansion chmbr
lapco drop and block
pure energy 68/3000ci tank w/ 850psi preset
tippmann a-5 double trigger

everything else is stock

heres my problem

everytime i pull the trigger it makes a burp like sound and i have recock it after every trigger pull. it almost sounds like theres not enough air getting through.  no paint gets shot out and my cyclone feeder doesnt even turn.   i dont think its the feeder cause it turns manually when i press reset button on the cylinder.   i cant think of anything to fix this problem other than replacing my 0-rings and springs.  does anyone know whats wrong with it?

Alright my friend had this problem. Look on the left side of your gun. And those wirey things hangin on the side of your gun, there is a screw to loosen or tighten it. Loosen it a little bit but not too much so more air can go through.

i had the same problem today with my 98c. i was useing the same tank, and have similar upgrades. its never done this before ever since i owned my HPA tank. so i screwed in my extra 20oz, and it shot normal. it has something to do with blowback, like theres not enough pressure. yet my gauge read 1800psi. my theory is the expansion chamber is limiting flow. so try takeing it off.

I would definitely take off the x-chamber.  Some people have reported problems using x-chambers with nitro.

If that doesn't fix it, I would try to borrow another nitro tank and see if that is the problem.

Good luck.

A good expansion chamber causes problems with Nitrogen/ HPA. There is an incredibly small hole that the HPA is trying to go through. It's an easy fix on your gun- take apart the x-chamber and drill the little hole bigger. That will only fix it with high pressure- if you decide to go low pressure, you'll have to mod your x-chamber like me (trust me it's a terrible pain). It's easier just to replace it with a gas-thru similar to your x-chamber.

I assume you have a vertical adapter.  To remove the X-chamber, simply unscrew the expansion chamber and remove the little snap ring on the top and push the x-chamber out the top.  you'll have to also remove the air line from the bottom of the expansion chamber before you push the x-core out.  After this is done, you basically have a gas thru grip.  The Hpa will work fine now.

X-chambers do have a purpose with HPA- depending on what style, it's a great foregrip. Like mine. I jumped through hurdles to get mine converted from an x-cahmber designed to limit the flow of air, and converted it to a volumizer. I drilled fourholes around the opening for the bolt, then had to use locking washers to allow the air to flow through. I then had to polish my internals due to the cyclone starving of air and not feeding fast enough, and I may yet have to get a stronger drive spring. It was difficult to determine what to do and what not to do, and exactly how much area I had to drill away. It was also hard figuring out what to use to hold it together.

*edit*
And I'm working on an anti-chop bolt to further prevent Cyclone feeding problems.

Ok...i took it to a shop and had the guy install a shock-tech gas through grip.  He replaced every o-ring, put in new internals, tried c02 and even checked to see if my tank was a low pressure tank...nothing worked.  Even he was pissed off for me.  The thing is that he would put his hand tight over the barrel adapter (without barrel) and it would fire, but when he took his hand off,  it still burps.  im thinking maybe i should send it to tippmann but will they still fix it with all my mods done to it?

The only problems I have had with mine is that the velocity screw came out becasue I stripped it or something. Thats all.
