So this new product called Re-balls are hitting the market. These are rubber balls that can be reused over and over again. These ball will appear at the Hunington Beach Tournament and they are prediciting that they will take over the market. What do you think are paintballs going to go extinct. |

they cant take over the market, paintball pro shops and
fields make their money primarily from the sale of paintballs, if
reballs where mass marketed tons of shops will go out of buisness,
shops and fields arnt going to sell them, and so they will never become
big, if they do take over paintball then paintball will inevidably die
because the shops and fields wont be able to pay their bills, its a
nice concept but its just not practical from an economic standpoint.

Know what you're talking about. They aren't going to use the re-balls for regular playing.

There are of course, all the reasons above... and also...
Correct me if I'm wrong, for I don't konw alot about this aspect... but say when you get a bolt chop, it just slices right through the paintball right? theres mess sure, but not much other than that... with rubber balls... it wont allow the bolt to close on it and will force it back... casuing mechanical problems, and possibly breaking it? |
