I would just like to ask... I own an A-5... I have heard so-so reviews about the A-5 Flatline... I LOVE the 98 Flatline... If I buy an adapter that allows me to put 98 barrels on A-5s, will I then be able to put the Flatline 98 adapter inside the 98 to A-5 adapter? In other words... Is there ANY way to get the 98 Flatline on an A-5 regardless of cost (without custom fitting from a shop)? Your help on this would be appreciated... |

Go here http://www.chasepb.com/product1.aspx?SID=1&Product_ID=24 4&Category_ID=16 to actually improve the shroud, go to a metal fabrication shop and ask them to make another shroud but, a lil longer.....in that pic you can tell its a 98c Flatline barrel in a A5 Flatline shroud.

The flatline for the A-5 is much better than the model 98 Flatline. It is much shorter but shoots the same distance, and it has a stop that lines up the barrel square so there is no small adjusting required like on the 98 barrel. Plus it just plain looks cooler

I thought that if you used an adapter, the barrel would install sideways. Tippmann did that so spyder users couldn't just buy an adapter and plug it in.
