yes it is good i own one and the master of mods, enos owns some too. it is a ver reliable marker and good if you like the rifle type. Are you looking to by one? The only down fall as 98c owns say is lack of ups but with some home mods it can tear 98c's away. |

I don't know what mods you are talking about for a ProCarbine, but I don't see how you're gonna make one that "can tear 98C's away". They're good guns, but firepower is one of the main things they lack.
They are very light guns and very durable. The trigger, valve and powertube are all metal, which is cool. The receiver is also milled out of a solid piece of metal as apposed to the castings of the M98C and A5. IMHO, there are a lot better guns to put a lot of money into. No offense to the dude's with these awesome upgraded ProCarbs, but I just think the M98C and A5 are better guns to dump money into and "grow with", but the ProCarb is a great gun to throw in your trunk and you know it will always be there for a backup or reliable loaner. |

Yeah, the stock barrel on mine is a lot better than the A5 or M98C's stock barrel.
Also, I hear about problems with the 8" Bigshot not clearing the shroud, but I don't see why a 12" or bigger LAPCO wouldn't work. Other than possibly not fitting, I don't see any reason to dog the Bigshot's performance. |

Very dependable marker. The field I go to used to use them as there main semi-auto rental and had very few issues. Now they use 98C's. If I were buying new I'd go with a 98C or A-5 though.

Its got a couple more details to be worked out. The thing was operating entirely too sensitive (such as adjusting the trigger sensitivity adjuster .1 degree would either make it or break it) I think ive solved that little issue with some kludge magic, but i need to find someone with the capability to drill extremely tiny holes in things for me. After that itll get sent to a friend to be shot over the chrono, played with, beat up, to make sure the whole thing will actually work good, and not just totally suck. |
