long barrell .vs. short barrell

   which barrell do you think is better, a 14" or a 16" barrell. My opinion on this, is that the longer the barrell the more friction there is, which slows down the ball.

	i have never noticed a difference between two sizes of the same barrel. Personal I like short ones just because of the esthetics.

	16" barrel is 2 more inches to the distance.

	14" is a nice size. Longer - it starts to make the gun look ugly and disfigured Shorter - ugly too.

	hey i would go w/ the 14 inch cuz ur right its goin to add more friction and it will just slow it down the longer u get and the ball need to be in a forced terjuctorie (sp) for it to go strait so the 14" does it just right

	14" is the best (it will slow down the ball if any longer)22" barrels are a joke. I use the flatline and a 14" barrel(flatline more often)

	The longer the barrel is the more air/co2 it takes to push the ball out at the fps you are trying to achieve. So in other words, the longer barrel will only waste your air. Go 14" tops.

	Yeah justice is right, but the longer the barrel the more accurate it's gonna be, but the cost for it is range. I would see if they had a 12" version of the barrel, but I play on a long field. Go for the 14", in other words. Edited by armed_future

	spong the inside of your barrel with rainX. i think that would sove the friction problem.

	a 12" would be fine. too long of a barrel makes the gun clumsy and a target during speeds ball. a longer barrel doesn't make it sniper rifle acurate anyway you probley wouldn't even notice a difference. 12" is good and 14" is good there about the same anything longer would just be a problem.
