Alright does anyone here have this? I know that I am going to get one but I was wondering when I read about it where to get my gun fixed so I could get the centerfeed onto it? It says that you have to mod your gun so it will fit on it. Does anyone here know that if I take it up tomy local paintball shop if they would be avle to do it?

  BTW I have a 98 custom.

What has to be done, is that you have to put a paintball sized hole in the top your your gun. If you have a drill press or a dremel you can do it.

But your best bet is to take it to your local paintball shop.

Oh and it doesnt come with instructions, its pretty self explanitory though.

And how old are you? Vertical feed is the best. Why do you think high end guns have it.

I was also thinking of installing one myself but wondered how exactly to do it with a dremel. I have a metal drill bit and can buy a metal punch for it but I dont know how I would cut out a hole in the top of the gun.

Best way to "Home install" the RD centerfeed ,is to get it mounted on your gun , and mark where the feedhole needs to be .

Then with a small drill bit go around the outside of the pattern you just made , then Very carefully drill at angles to free up a plug of metal you'll be removing .

Finish it out by polishing with a dremel sander . Drill your hole a bit undersized , you can always sand more out , but its hard to add a bit of metal where you took too much away .

Good luck on your Mod ,or if your local PB shop cant/wont do it for you , try a small sized machine shop in your area .

SL68-II , micro honed and polished .688" bore . Tuff Enuf .
Widowmaker , under construction

See I had it easy, we had just purchased a drill press. I just marked the center of the feed, and drilled away.

Its definatly worth it, I was able to see down the gun better and feeding was noticably faster.

^ Yea. But everyone here is saying that you have to drill a hole in the top right? Well what about the hole already on the left side. Wouldn't drilling a hole in the top make it twice as big? And wouldn't that mean too many balls in one area? Thanks.

No, the kit comes with a plug that covers the other hole.

Its a very sound product, has alot of thought put into it.

^ Yea I guess. Hey guys, I was talking to the people at paintballgear.com and they put the E-bolts on E-bay becasue they can't sell them on their site anymore for some reason and now I have seen them on E-bay brand new and never used for like 165 bucks!!!!!! And I was also wondering if you can still also put a drop forward on the E-bolt because the ASA adapter I think thats what it called comes with the E-bolt?

o ok. But why do they give you another ASA adapter? I think it looks cooler than the original ASA adapter.

because the E bolt needs gas to run. if you dont have the aftermarket ASA then it doesnt get the gas it needs. it has a lil micro reg for LP gas to go through microline (not what fires the gun) for i forget what.
