Use the next time. There are plenty of threads on this.
The main reason is because technically a sniper is a long range marksman. Now, we all know that paintballs become very inaccurate aftre a certain distance. This contradicts what a sniper truly is.
Prepare yourself for some flaming...

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Let's try to solve this problem by making a name for people who like to "snipe" in paintball. Let's make a name for people that like to do this. Make sure it's non-derrogatory. This way they're not truly snipers but longer than average paint slingers. This thread should now come up with these names and then later have a poll to see which one works the best and introduce this name to the paintball community. Hopefully all you forumers think this is a great idea, and it would finally solve our problem.

Ahh i honestly dont think anything will solve the "sniper" issue. CAUSE THERE ARE SNIPERS IN PAINTBALL !!!! naa im jk lol there arent in a sence that you cant fire a paintball at 300 yards and expect it to come anywhere close to the target lol. Just for the future if you want to no anything about snipers. There was soooooo much on them... mostly fighting back and fourth but its all useful info ;)

It will never stop, it will never be resolved. Argue all you want but the debate will forever continue. Call it whatever you want but that won't change a thing. In the end, play how you want to play and figure out how to do it the best you can. If you're happy with it and successful with it, it won't matter what you call it...
...because everyone else around you will just call you good anyway. LOL

here's a thought, let just create a damn sniper sticky, that way we have one thread all about it that people can argue all they want, and then we don't have 50 million of these damn threads popping up everyday?
