Both are good guns and fully upgradeable. It basically depends on the price and how much you want to spend. Under $200 - 98c. Over $200 - A5. I would say get the A5, just because i personally like the looks of them better and I like the cyclone.

Go for the A-5. You can get the egrip for like a little more than a hundred bucks now and that will make your gun rip. You also get the cyclone system so you don't have to buy a $50 hopper anyway.

Go for the A-5. i have an A-5 and my brother has a 90 custom. he is alway sayin "i should have got the A-5." I love it. the gun looks awsome, has a way better sight, and a cyclone feed. that is worth the exter hunderd dollers you will spend on it. if u are lookin to upgrade it go for the A-5 b/c the upgrades are a cheeper. |

Well if you plan on playing ALOT of speedball then get the A-5 because it's cheaper to make it electric and it comes with a Cyclone feed system wgich is just like a motorized hopper. The E-grip is capped out at 15bps. Now for the 98 Custom. If you plan on playing a little bit of speedball then this is a good gun, but if you plan on making a Milsim gun then the 98 Custom is just as good as the A-5 is with the customizing. |

honestly the 98c has more accuracy at long distances,i use 1 my self
and it pwnes at long distances,A 5 on the other hand kicks some Butt in
close combat,so if ur an attacker go with A5,if ur defender/sniper
style go with the 98c/flat line/car stock, make sure to have the air
cord thingy(cant remember the name).just my 2 cents though.

try them both. one might fit your playing style a little bit better. i like the A-5 but i dont like flatline for it or the 98c. the A-5 with a good barrel is also rediculusly accurate good luck |

well, well each gun has good points to it. the
A-5 is good for close cambat and the 98 is good for snipering with a flatline. i would recomend a A-5 over a 98 because with a flatline barrel the A-5 will make a good all around gun. so get the A-5 if you are willing to pay 200$ more to buy the gun and flatline.

????????? The RT in the 98 is capable of slightly higher ROF than the RT in the A5 however the flatline for the A5 has slightly better accuracy than the 98's and the A5 has the e-grip which is alot cheaper than the 98 e-bolt. Overall i'd have to say the A5 is a much better marker but the 98 is still a very good choice. Also consider that with the 98 you still need to buy a motorized hopper so the price difference between the two isn't really that much. |
