Okay, well I guess you could say im new to this, but im not too new to paintball. But what i've been doing is looking around for a new paintball gun, because my gun right now is a Brass Eagle peice of absolute **edited**, and it jams up like every third bloody shot. Anyway a new shop opened up in town here about 2 weeks back, and i went in and saw tippman 98 custom sitting on the shelf, and they made the mistake of letting me hold, cause now i think im in love with this gun, but what im asking is, should i be in love with this gun?, is it worth the investment, or should i look other places for a different gun ? |

Its one of the best guns for the price. Reliable and virtually indestructable(as long as your not purposely putting a chainsaw through it).

Its worth it, you should be in love with it. Ask any 98c owner here: they love theri gun. Its consistancy is great, its reliable, its for all levels of play, you can use it in any field and the upgrades for it are fantastic! i would get it.

Get a 98 Custom for sure. I started w/ Brass Eagle, which they should pay you to play with. I have a 98C now, get it, now.

Go for the 98c but, order it online from a US pbstore, the reason why Im saying this is because there is a huge price difference between the US and Canada....that being said, whats the asking price for the 98c at the store you saw it at, take that price tag and compare it to one of the many US online pbstores and you will see what I mean.

hey evil_fingers, the price of it at the paintball store he in Canada is $200 CDN, but if i ordered it over the internet wouldn't i have to pay for the exchange rate, and the shipping and handling and all the good stuff, not really saving any money.

Most online pbstores wont charge you for shipping and handling when your order is over $100...the exchange rate is something I dunno anything about. |

200 Canadian is 162 US. 162 is a good price, you might find them cheaper, on the net, but by the time you pay shipping it will be the same Currency converter Btw, yes, get the 98 Custom. Edited by Kevin Z |

lol, i don't even know what my brass eagle is, i think they called it " biggest peice of **edited** ever gun " . Get this, i was just in my back yard firing it, about an hour ago, just to waste time, and in 10 shots, it jammed twice.
