i just bought a new drop forward and needed to buy a new hose to reach it. but i cant unscrew the old hose to put the new one in. its really tight.

try a LITTLE heat,that will help loosen up the thread sealent,and use a good fitting wrench.

you have to take off your valve to unscrew it. then put some rubber or cloth between the valve in a vice, and unscrew it. i think its 7/16 wrench, but i forget.
