You dont have to. The shells are gelatin, they dissolve in water. |

They will wash just fine in the Washing machine. I have done this many a time and it has yet to do anything bad.

Flick the shells off if yur stepmom doesn't like them. Then, sneak it in the washer one day.

If you don't have to wash your clothes because your mom will do it, why do it yourself? It is just easier that way.

learn to do your cloths now and save yourself a headache when you move out. Measure out a capful of laundry detergent (not bleach, bleach bad) and pour it on the bottom of the washing machine, then put your clothes in on top of that (all color or all whites in one go).
Turn the knob or push buttons until it is doing its "normal" thing. Warm/warm is a good setting for the water. When they are done (like a half hour) take the clothes out and put them in the dryer (unless you have a jersey--take that out and let it air-dry)...set the dryer to run for about an hour. Should be good. Now you are independant of stepmom for laundry help. |

wsh it like you would regular clothes that are muddy or something. It wouldnt hurt you to rinse in the sink or somethiong first though. I wear older camoflage pants i dont wash them unless they get bad.

I thought warm water was for whites and cold water for darks. Also if you are going to put the detergent in the washer before the clothes (assuming you have a top loading washer) its best to let the washer fill about a thrid of the way up with water before adding the clothing. |
