When I went to play for the first time, the rental guns had gauges on them for the CO2 tanks so we can know when to fill up. Anyone know where I can get a decent gauge?? (Does me having a remote also make not having a gauge possible?) I was just wondering cause on actionvillage they have gauges but I think they are all for nitro tanks. Thanks again. DominicanOps |

CO2 is in your tank as a liquid. The liquid evaporates creating the gas that fires the marker. This gas is at 800 PSI give or take depending on temperature. As long as there is liquid in the tank the pressure will remain steady.
So, the guage will always read full, until about 10 seconds before it runs dry. A gauge on CO2 is not very useful. Edited by Kevin Z |

^exactly! co2 gauges are just a quick buck from new players. the only thing they can be usefull for, is setting your regulator pressure. if you get the bullet drop, you can put one on. more looks than funtion.

Just get used to your gun and your tank. Learn how many games, or better yet, bags or paint of paint you can shoot on a full tank.
Gauges are very inaccurate when you use them with CO2 because the liquid CO2 just expands into gas when a little gas is used up. The gauge will read full untill you run out of liquid CO2 and then will only ready accuratly when you are running on just CO2 gas. That is only going to be a few shots though. |
