I think I have the problem narrowed down, but I am in search of a sollution. During rapid fire my CO2 tank ices up and the cyclone feeder stops moving. We all know what happens next; I start chopping balls without warning . I have a A5 with RT and a GTA expansion chamber. Is there anyway to fix this problem or lease catch it before it starts happening?

are you playing in cold weather?
An anti-syphon tube might be your solution. |

ya it sounds like your c02 is freezing and clogging w/e works the piston on the cyclone, try the anti syphon thing, also you may need an expansion chamber, or i spose you could try something to keep the c02 tank at the temp it should be at

I don't think liquid CO2 is getting into the marker. I think it is just loosing pressure. I have a GTA expansion chamber.

Hmmmm... replace the GTA x-chamber with a different one. It sounds like it doesn't do its job well. Making an anti-sIphon yourself can be dangerous- find a proshop that will do it or buy one already made off the 'net at a good on-line store (try http://www.countypaintball.com )

A nitro tank will immediately solve your problem. Otherwise, a better x-chamber, a remote, anti-syphon - all the things suggested above. You could also shoot slower, but that is really boring. |

this is normal the manufacturer's rating of the cyclone feed is 13 bps although people have gotten it higher than that. I put an imitation r/t into my friends a5 and it did the same thing. |

ya the cyclone capping it 13 is why i prefer the 98c over the a5, that also means there is alot more hopper options
