My ION Review and *PICS*

Well i just recieved my ion today from punishersPB, i ordered it on thursday and it got here today.

It was packed very nicely in an ion box. So i picked it up and tried out the trigger, it was do able but still a little stiff to my liking, i heard from other people on this forum that the stock trigger with the magnet wont be able to reach 10 bps, well there wrong, it is still very easy to walk right out of the box. Even before airing it up i deassembled the gun just to check out the internals and such. It was very easy to take apart. I also bought a Low Rise Feedneck for it, so i installed that to while the gun was still apart. Then i took out the magnet. It wasnt that hard to do. What you do is take a screw driver and put the tip agaisnt the pin, and then you use a hammer to smash the screw driver untill the pin comes out. After i took the magnet out, the trigger pull was amazing.

So then i ran outside, gased it up, and NO LEAKS!!!.

So then i just let it rip. I shot bout a hopper full, it was VERY FAST, and NO CHOPS!

I had about 1000 psi left in my tank and i shot bout a hopper full(Halo, so its about 180 paintballs), and i left out with about 600 psi left. So this leads to about 1300 shots off 4000 on a 68/45 tank. Which i think is very nice.

I have owned the fallowing guns:
Dm4, Dm5, EGO, Cyborg, Abomb, Ripper2, Predatored Nasty Shocker, Very Nice SFT Shocker, Angel 4 RetroFly, Angel 05 speed, impys, and E-Cockers.

My favorites out of these are the EGO and the Dm5, and i still own both.

And this gun is up there with the tops.  So The ION proves that you dont have to spend over 2000 dollars to have a tourny worthy gun. As far as the 17 bps limit, no one really shoots this fast without bounce or ramp.

The drop on the gun is surpose to be black but my black one is in one of my bags so i just used my other one.

very nice, whered you get the low rise from? is it compatible with all aftermarket shocker parts?   8/10 cuz its new and pretty but still stock. people will be posting stock ions like 6 months from now and people are gunna be saying things about how their stock. sorry, i always find that funny about when new guns come out. like when the a-5 came out.

but its not anno its power coat. ALso the blue is just plastic type thing, its not really annoed, or powdercoated.
