   I only want an answer if you have first hand knowledge here..
I'm stuck badly between getting an A-5 and modifying it with comp air / rt / flatline / rva / r5 or getting an NME by System X (basically an intimidator on speed)
I know the A-5 is 10x as reliable but I only have 2 gripes
1. Max FPS of 265 with flatline
2. Accuracy?
Curious if the flatline barrel with good paint and comp air is as accurate as cockers/timmy's etc..

	Well, if you are worried about accuracy out of the A-5 with a flatline there are certainly other more ACCURATE barrels on the market. The flatline has all other barrels on range though. The other side to this is that you are comparing apples to oranges. An A-5 with a flatline is not like a Autococker or Intimidator. The a-5 set up you described would be more for woods ball and the two markers you compared it to are for speedball. I would say it seems as though were trying to go towards woodsball with that set up, in which case that would be an ULTIMATE set up. Again if you are stumped on accuracy maybe look into a Boomstick, same price much more accurate.

	Well here is the deal, it is accurate at the range of a normal aftermarket barrel, then once it starts to get into its outer range there is larger area it could go in. think of it like a narrow triangle. The tip is where you shot from and the base is the outermost limit of its range. There is a good thread in upgrades and customizing called "Flatline Answers" and it will help you a lot.

	thanks.. I think I might consider a boomstick if I go A-5.. since you seem to know you're stuff I have a couple more Q's Comp air system requires a second regulator. Where do you put it? Finally, given the above info could an A-5 with comp air e-grip and a boomstick be as accurate as high end markers? What's a good velocity to stick with?

	It really depends on what you want to do with your gun, the local fields by me do not allow the RT in any type of competition and the E-Grip MUSY be set to semi only. If you are going to play rec ball or woods ball I would go ith the A-5, however if competition is more your style I would buy the System X.

	The A-5 with comp air, boomstick, and an egrip (pending you get the JCS eBlade trigger) will keep up fine with the big boys. When you are talkin gabout guns that can fir upwards of 15bps, it is not like you can just hold down the trigger and do that. Plus fields do not allow guns on full auto, only semi-auto. When you are walking your trigger you have to work up to those high speeds. The A-5 can do 15bps easily with the e-grip. Anything over 15bps is over kill IMO. I have seen an A-5 empty its hopper in les than a minute. When any gun is going 15bps and over it looks like there is a rope coming out of the gun. The secondary reg is attached to your verticle adapter. Which moves it forward to where your foregrip used to be.

	so basically in the comp air pictures on tippmanns sight ... they are showing the kit with that regulator installed but it's not actually included? I got confused because in the pictures.. there's already a reg there so I'm thinking wtf am I supposed to put another. Is the Tippmann Techline 300-500 psi regulator the best to get or.. ? I was looking at other regs and Custom Products has a sweet reg that is also good for a grip

	If you want a Reg, get a Bob Long Torpedo or even a Palmers Stabilizer. Ooo, CP Regs are great. I'm pickin one of those up soon. Edited by hybrid-sniper

	What I have experienced witht the A-5 Flatline is that when you shoot, it shhots up then later drops which gives it accuray. Now when you are playing speedball you DO NOT want this because when you are 20 feet away from the guy and you shoot for his chest it will most likely go over him and then he will shoot you. So seriously you should get that timmy on speed or whatever then get a freak or All American setup for it.

	The LP pictures show a regular which is not included. The regulator goes where your foregrip is now. The Flatline is so-so accurate, but easier to aim because you don't have an arc - just point and shoot. This increases the effective accuracy quite a bit. I shoot my Flatline at 275 fps with no problems at all, and I love not having to worry about matching paint. The LP kit will reduce recoil, thereby improving accuracy, but is otherwise not a huge improvement. Even with with LP kit, your A-5 will never have the kind of ball-on-ball accuracy you get from a high-end electro. Not even close. There are too many inefficiencies in the blowback system, and even with the LP kit you will have much more recoil than an electro, which decreases accuracy. It's just a different category of accurate.
