When i went to go play this afternoon my balls were just dropping off
after about 10-15 feet. When I wnt in to change the velocity the screw
would turn but it wouldn't go in or out. the temp was about 35° and I was
using co2.

do you have an expansion chamber? if it's that cold, then you're bound to have problems with co2.

Your just not getting enough pressure because of the cold. The liquid co2 cannot change phase as rapidly to give you full constant pressure. This problem will always occur in the cold. The only thing you can do is soak your tanks in warm water and insulate before play. But this will not eliminate the problem.

your velocity screw does work, it's just that there isn't enough pressure behind it to show you the difference.
you have two options if you want to continue playing in cold weather without problems: get an expansion chamber/palmer stab, or buy an hpa tank. the second option is probably going to be better in the long run.

A expansion chamber wont do too much in the cold. The liquid co2 may expand from it, but there still wont be enough pressure. I had one, and it didnt do anything differant in the cold.

get a HPA tank and a rear velocity adjuster. The HPA will help in the temperature and the stock velocity adjuster is crap
