Money raising ideas needed.

Well I found out the other day, my dad is having a very tough time.  He lives in Colorado and I live in Georgia <FYI, but rather irrelevant>.  He recently had surgery for the third time on his leg to fix a blood clot in his foot.  The pain from that coupled with newly aquired depression led him to loose his job (would not go in, or call in).  This does not help his financial problems one bit.  I want to raise money to send to him, but need ideas.  I was thinking something along the lines of a fundraiser, like washing cars and such.  I am not looking for charity.  Any ideas on what I could do?

seriously what i would do is pick the most recent natural disaster and tell ppl that its a relief effort and send the proceeds to ur dad.

 Well you do have a job so it wouldn't hurt to pitch in $20. You could mow your neighbors yards,wash peoples cars, or go house to house and tell them whats wrong with your dad and ask them to donate.

well how old are u? old ppl buy lemonade from little kids cuz they think its funny that the e on their sign is upside down. lawnmowing is also for old people who dont want to do it themselves. other than that if ur above 18 work more hours or get another job (in adition(sp?) to ur current one)

Why exactly do you need to bail your dad out of this?

The US has welfare for a reason. As well as unemployment. Plus it sounds like your dad should have been on disability anyway.
