I hardly listen to blues... but I've heard people recommend "The muddy waters" a lot.

Aparently, they are like, awesome when it comes to the blues genere, or something.

Stevie Ray Vaughn has some excellent stuff. Not all of it is blues, but it's excellent. He does a great version of "little wing" originally by Jimi Hendrix

It goes with out saying, silly.

Same for Ray Charles.

They are so well known in the blues area that no one needs to mention them.

(Although you probably already know, Hendrix is blues/rock. Look for him. He will rok ur sox)

Finally, a genre of music I can give advice to.

1)  Jonny Lang's first CD (Lie To Me)
2)  Johnny Winter
3)  Jeff Beck
4)  Stevie Ray Vaughn  (Download the track ScuttleButtin, and for          acoustic blues, download "Life by the Drop"
5)  Kenny Wayne Sheppard's First Cd
6)  Roy Buchannan
7)  Albert King
8)  Steve Vai (Kinda out there, but still decent)
9)  Jeff Healy Band  (Blind guy, Excellent)
10) Ian Moore

Let me know if you want more.
