    Posted: 02 March 2005 at 3:49pm
Just bought a r/t and flatline barrel. R/t working great, flatline not so great. It keeps forcing its way out of the shroud, and yes the lock nut is as tight as its going to go, thanks for the thought though. Any suggestions or have had this happen before.

Is it coming out when you shoot through it?

Take out the screw, make sure the flatline is pushed into the shroud all the way.  Then screw the bolt back in and try it again.

Is the barrel coming out or the adaptor or both?

The barrel is forcing its way out of the adapter, i got some feedback in the other forum to put the screw on the left side and it should make a difference, also smaller paintballs? Sound good?

It shouldnt be the paint.. even if you shot... rocks the barrel should NOT come out without you loosening the screw... are you sure its in right?

When its in right it kinda accually looks upside down (at least thats what I Thought)

pics could help. this sounds bizarre. maybe take it to a shop or better yet take the whole barrel off and install it yourself. if it persists tippmann will have no prob replacing the part.
