the bolts that hold my powertube on are almost completely stripped out i need help real fast cuz i have an R/T on its way does anyone have any idea how i could get these out

E-98 is right, its not the bolts that are stripped, its the threads inside the valve that are stripped and it is a common problem....so, before you install the RT, you need to replace the valve and dont consider in rethreading the threads or use Loctite....it will lead to more problems.

Yeah, youll need a new valve body if your willing to take apart your valve. If you dont want to take it apart, just buy a whole new valve altogether but that costs more ($30). And you can just replace the valve when you install your RT.

Well if the heads are stripped, just use an extractor bit or even some good gripping pliers. Then buy new bolts from Tippmann. Call them and ask for new valve bolts. I think they are $2 or $3. And when you put in the new ones, use red Loctite or teflon tape, and be very carefull not to overtighten and strip.

Enos had a good idea he posted a while back. Get a cheap allen wrench and superglue it to the stripped screw head. It might hold enough to back the bad screws out.

i knew a kid that had his valve body stripped so we taped the body 1/4-20 that way the valve will be pinned agenst the far side...i wouldent recomend this to anyone but it did work...
