Darur needs an opinion

So heres the deal.  I have reached the point where I acctually need a computer or tool for word processing, schedualing etc. when I am away from home.  Ideally this would be a laptop but taking note of its price and the money I have this will not work.  Plus I also kidna want it as a birthday present and it would be way to expensive.

The alternative is a handheld with keyboard.  As far as I can tell it would work perfectly.

I have narrowed it down to two handhelds which have everything I need.

Tungsten E

It has everything I need and I can add a keyboard.

Tungsten T5

It also has everything I need, plus it comes with a free keyboard and $50 rebate, plus the option to trade in an old handheld (I have an m125 lying around) for an extra $50.  Shipping is free for both.

If I get the Tungsten E, its $312.79 with case, keyboard and handheld.

If I get the Tungsten T5 its $441.98 - $50 rebate - $50 trade in with case and keyboard.  $341.98.

If I go with the T5 I know I wont have to worry about it antiquating too much and should last me t senior or junior year.  If I get the E it should last me some time and save a little money.

Which should I get?

A little more digging revealed that the T5's deal on the free keyboard no longer exists.  The Tungsten T3 is $50 cheaper, meaning I could afford the keyboard.

Lol, I see what you are saying. 

No, this is just for use at my high school.  Often I go to meetings off campus for Student Government and it would be good to have a tool to work on assignments with while I am away.

I am looking in more, Overall The T5 seems better because of the faster processor, thats the only reason now I want it over the E.  It has all the features of the E and more.
