Hey, I just custom painted my 98 Custom and put it back together. I stripped one of the valve screws, so I replaced the valve. But now, my response trigger just plain isnt working. I have everything back the way I remember, but I havent used my tippmann in FOREVER because I have been using my Ebladed cocker. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong with it?

I just turned the RT adjustment screw all the way out and that is supposed to make the trigger hard to pull. It didn't. I dont think it is getting any CO2....

any ideas?

Your supposed to turn the airflow adjuster all the way in for a slow hard response. Then if theres a good hard response, go ahead and re-tune it. Heres the link if you forget how to tune it- www.model98.net/tunert.html

But if theres still no response, make sure the lines are all hooked up, and make sure the BLACK (gold if the paint is worn off) screw is screwed into the side of the valve through the fitting. If its a silver screw (RT shutoff screw) you need to find the other one.

I am pretty sure that the line is hooked up right.

I have already looked at that article (used search )

And no matter how I turn it, there is no response....

Is your tank low at all? That will cause this. And make sure the black screw is in once again. But my guess now is a low tank.

That would definatly contribute to this especialy if its cold ( wont give you full pressure like when low). Refill it, soak it in warm water before you play, and insulate it.
