well the phantom is no sniper rifle(because, uh thats pretty lame)...

but it is a great stock class marker. the pump action is nice and smooth, shoots really nice, lots of ways to customize it. all in all a good pump.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator.

I sold my Phantom to buy myself and electro, and now i am looking to sell my electro to get another Phantom. They are great guns out of the box and Mike at phantomonline.com is great to work with. I was getting almost 450 shots off of a 3.5 oz c02 tank, but I never did try it with a 12 gram. The autotrigger is a nice feature and unlike most guns, you CAN aim down the barrel on a stock class Phantom .

3.5 oz tanks are very hard to come by now, I really regret selling the two I had to the local paintball shop. iisports.com USED to have them in stock but they no longer do. I have been looking on ebay and on the phantom owners group forum marketplace.
CCI Phantom... yes it's pump
3.5oz co2

Impulse
Eggy II
45 4500 fiber

you can get 4oz tanks too... they are a lil cheaper. Also, unless you want a kit to match bore sizes dont bother buying a new barrel, the stock barrel's are amazing. I personally don't like the 14" barrel, it just gets in my way. I also don't like left/right feed. The marker is so light that it feels awkward with a full hopper hanging off the side. A good place for info, pictures, questions, etc would be the Phantom Owners Group and stockclass paintball Other good pumps to consider would be the AM Illusion, WGP Sniper, and the Sterling. As far as pump strokes go, I have never shot a sterling, but I hear it's comparable to the Illusion, which is better than the sniper, which is better than the Phantom. The Phantom's is light, just not as smooth. Efficiency wice the phantom and illusion are pretty on par with around 35 shots per 12gram. Any other questions feel free to get ahold of me.
