I've been playing Halo 2 on xbox live alot recently. It seems that more
and more people start to cheat everyday. I cannot go a day of playing
halo 2 without someone cheating. It's really starting to get to me. It
seems like bungie does nothing to stop this either. Anyone notice any
of this?

My hitting standby on their modem while playing and it lags everyone else out and they can go around killing people.

There's a few ways. I know how to cheat, but I'm not going to post exactly what to do (for the fun of others). The first method of cheating would be Stand-By. On new modems, there is a stand-by switch. If executed at the right time, it will freeze up the server so that only the host is able to move. Thus allowing the team to score. The other type of cheating is dummying. It's a way to create a clone of yourself so that your clone will stay in one spot meleeing, but you will really be in the side seat of a warthog. Someone could grab a flag and throw it to you once you hop out of the warthog. Once the player dummying grabs the flag and takes a set forward, they will be transported back to his body. I've had both happen to me. Not fun. Now, there are other ways of cheating, but those are the most well known. Other ways of cheating are "sketch" and don't always work. |
