I am wanting to get a palmer for my model 98. I seen guns with the VA and male palmer, but Palmer has a kit for the 98 and that uses the female stabilizer. Is there any performance issues between the male and the female stabilzier?? Also if I get the female stabilizer, it says just use it as my ASA. Will it fit on drop forwards?

The regulators are exactly the same. The only difference between them is
how you hook them up to your gun.

OK then, so will I be able to fit the female Palmer onto any drop forward with standard holes?

Hey!

The female uses mounting brackets which screw into the drop just like anything else would.

You'll be fine.

Personally...I like the female better but that's because I shoot an A-5 and I hate how regs look hooked up into the VA.

But yeah...the female kit will work great and will look pimp too!

i got a female one.... it looks sick.  and you need to buy additional mounting brackets for it so it can be mounted to a drop.
