I've never used a Snapshot, but I do know that LAPCO really doesn't make a bad product...they are a company that takes pride in making the best possible accessories.

I buy their products whenever possible, and have been 100% satisfied.

I know their standard barrels(Bigshot/Autospirit/Microshot) are pretty hard to beat.

The snapshot loks like an awesome barrel. If it's anything like the bigshot than it's sweet.

The only thing i would worry about is this: What does the Snapshot actually come with? Every description I've read is pretty vague.

Personally, for $100, you could buy a Bigshot and an Autospirit which will take care of pretty much any paint you throw at them, plus they are one-piece which is preferable to a 2-piece, IMHO.

I'm not saying to get one or the other, I would like to hear what the Snapshot actually comes with first.

But depending on what's included with the Snapshot, and how much the tips/backs/whatever costs. you may be better served by getting a couple of the one-piece LAPCO barrels.

for 95 id rather just get the j&j edge kit. But the snapshot should be a very respectable barrel.

I personally don't have a snapshot, but I DO know that LapCo is a good brand. I'd look for a better price though, try some paintball shops...they won't charge shipping either.

The snapshot is a very good barrel, but for a high price.  My friend has one and says its worth every penny, but the only difference between that and a Bigshot is that the Snapshot its a bit more accurate and quieter.  I personally have been looking into both of these two barrels (Bigshot and Snapshot) to see which one to buy.  The Bigshot costs significantly less and the performance is actually close to the Snapshot for a portion of the price. If you're looking to buy, as I am, the only difference comes down to the noise, accuracy, and price.
