My friend has a 98c and wants a sniper barrel for it but doesnt want a flatty so hes thinking along the lines of a boomstick. He found some deal for a 21" 3 peice boomstick on ebay for 25 and it didnt say the brand but looked pretty ******. So I was wandering what would you guys recomend?(links please) Edit: I was also wandering what that site is with all the mods and stuff- like 98custom.net or something Edited by e-gripA-5er |

well...is that $25 for a boomstick 21" 3 piece? if it is i would buy it in a heart beat. but that seems like a really low price to be selling a boomstick. anyway i was plannin on gettin a boomstick but found out the price of it is way to high. im gettin a Freak Barrel Kit which is also one of the best barrels out there if not the best. heres some of the prices for the Freak Barrel Kit...$159 - aluminum, $189 - stainless steel and that comes w/8 inserts or if u just wanna buy the barrel and 1 insert its roughly $94 - $100. also i dont know if u already know this or not but gettin a barrel over 14" is a waste maybe 16" but thats pushin it. heres the website for freak barrel www.smartparts.com

NONMONONONONONONNONO, do not let him buy a twenty-one inch barrel. A
gun only needs 11 inches of barrel to speed up the ball and 3-4 inches
of cusion room, therefore, you should NEVER go above 14...well maybe
16. And you should cut down on teh "s" word.

Yeah, don't get any barrel over 14". Get a 14'' Lapco bigshot and he's set.
