despite what ppl say about the flatline, with good paint the barrel is by far one of my favorites. i mean since when is it not cool to shoot someone and not get shot back. but anyway i wanna try and reduce recoil as much as possible so how do you think this setup would work.

low pressure kit, no2, palmer stabilzer.

That will reduce the kick alot. You can also get a Rear Velocity adjuster and adjust it to get your LPK pressures even lower.

lpk will lower recoil. In fact the LPK is really the only thing you can do to
lower the recoil on your Tippmann.

Get the LPK its very beneficial and so much better than an Ion. It will reduce kick a lot as well as make it more quiet, and less likly to break balls. Theres also better efficiancy and consistancy.

polishing your internals will help too. when you polish them it makes the gun cycle easier so it dosent need as much air to cycle the gun so therefore you can run at even lower pressures

a5 polished internals
flatline
custom aluminum foregrip
drop
e grip w/custom blade trigger
palmer stabalizer
71ci 4500psi dye throttle
dye invisions

Obviously, you've never shot a high-end gun.

*ehem* I have a flatline on my 98c but what are you talking about recoil. Is it some other form of the word I not familiar with?

Do I really have to look up the definition of the word recoil for you? Go
buy a dictionary.

BTW

Since we've dug up an old topic, I'd like to add that the fact that you have
a flatline on your tippy has little to nothing to do with the amount of
recoil your gettin from your marker.

Screw out your veocity screw so that none protrudes into the power tube, and there will be no turbulence in the tube to slow the gas.  Use an HPR to adjust to the right velocity to use the best air efficiency.

Recoil???

The recoil of an A5 is miniscule.  Either add weight to the gun, work out more or both.

While you may think that the A-5's recoil is minimal, there's enough recoil
in the A-5 to bounce the tip of the barrel and throw your shots off by
about 10" or more at 75-100'. I guarantee you that your shots are not
landing on top of each other while shooting 12bps.

Next time you get the chance, fire your gun at about 12-15 bps, watch
the tip of the barrel bounce. This is called recoil. A-5's have alot more
recoil than Shockers, Matrix's, Intimidators, and Angels etc. For the
average rec player this recoil may be "minimal" but for the serious player,
it is usually unacceptable.
