Ok, I was looking at my sponsors web page and I need a new
hopper. So i was checking out the Halo B, and the Reloader.
NO IM NOT ASKING WHICH ONE TO GET. I was reading the description
on the HALO B and it says
True Forcefeed Technology. 23+ Balls Per Second. Spring Loaded Drive Cone. Burst Rate of 50 BPS. Belt Drive. Computer Controlled. Reflective Sensor. Reinforced Feedneck. Low Battery Indicator. 20,000 Rounds/Battery. what on earth does that mean? |

It most likely means that guns which use 3-6 round burst can acheive 50bps using that hopper.

something tells me with that cone inside of the halo that you'll be making a paintball puree inside that thing. That cone must be spinning at light speed.

i'm pretty sure it means for short bursts... 4-5 balls... it can feed
at technically 50 bps if that rate was sustained. it cannot... it
can only feed 23 or whatever at a constant rate.

could you imagine shooting 50 bps? you'd run out of paint in like 4-5 seconds

well i know, im just saying IF you could shoot 50+ bps, it would change
the sport, people would have to start carrying bigger hoppers, more
pods...etc.

The Halo hopper Preloads an amount of tension on the ball stack , usually about 8 balls with its spring loaded feed cone . Since there is already pressure forcing these balls downward ,its like having a Q-loader for the first few (4-6?) shots . So Yes , a SHORT burst is possible with the Halo because of that,,, but sustained , it can only feed as fast as the feed cone can spin , and they are rating that in excess of 22 BPS , but nowhere near 50 BPS , hope this helps . |

What burst speed means is that at the first turn of the drive it moves as fast as 50 bps, but it DOES NOT go 50 bps. Fastest loader is the Q-loader at 30 bps and it's burst is probably 80
Let me clarify- burst is how quickly it reacts to being shot |

why would you possibly ever need to fire 50 bps(hypothetically), i
think like 17 is the max speed anyhting should be able to go, the BPS
keeps getting faster and its not even necessary

That 35 is just an average, they put some balls in and run the hopper till it empties, then divide time by balls |
