I am new to the threads and there maybe a topic like this already,if there is I am sorry for repeating, but I have a A-5 with the R/T trigger and was thinking of switching over to the E-grip,just looking for pro's and cons on this subject, all I play is woods ball with about ten or twelve of my buddies no speedball, will I see a difference between the two systems? Thanks Joe

Also with the E-grip do you have to use compressed air instead of co2?

No, you dont need comp air for the Egrip. The Pros of the Egrip are that it has different rates of fire. The major con of it is the price. If I were you, I would stick with the RT since you dont plan on moving into speedball.

The main reason I was looking to speed the gun up was because a couple of the other guys I play against have full auto guns, plus they are trying to tell me that the r/t is the same as full auto! I say that there is a big difference, that is why I started this thread to ask you guys if there is a difference between the two.

Sinister pretty much got it. The main difference is with the e-grip you can adjust to different rates of fire (3/6 rnd, full auto, semi auto) with the rt your still in semi auto it just makes the mechanics shoot a little faster.

i say the egrip only becuase you can also change the speed on full auto, and three burst. Also, you dont have to pull back as far to shoot, so its like a responce trigger (sorta) with many different fire modes.

The response trigger does a thing called "Sweet-spotting" which will turn it full auto.  With a few cheap and easy mods, you can get it shooting up to 12 to 14 bps, which is alot faster than people seem to think.  It just takes some practice getting used to.

One of the problems withthe response trigger though, is that alot of serious fields or events will not allow you to use them, as they are always full auto.  With an E-Grip you can change the rate of fire to something different.
