paintball shotgun

This has been suggested many times. It is an okay idea but not practical. Also it could injure someone, like a kid.

there actually sort of is one, i saw it on pbreview.com but i couldnt find it this morning when i looked.  It's called teh Typhoon, double barreled and everything, quite expensive tho.

^ I agree w/ you on this one.

My friend and I met this guy at a place with something like that. He had a 16" barrel and a 8", but only used the 16". He put 2 little blades on the inside of his 8" that break the ball. I worked pretty well but he had to get really close, not easy when we both have 98 Customs with Flatlines.

the last time we talked about this, I believe we talked about putting some type of thing wire in the shape of an X across the end of the barrel.

I remember way back in 2002/2003, when that Toody wacko was on the forums, he suggested alot of shotgun ideas. He was the one who claimed he was some special non-existant Special Forces unit.

Me and my friends made some paper cartridges and filled them with 6mm
paintballs. They worked great, but we shot'em at a dumpster so I don't
know if they'd break on a person. Plus we were only 5-6 feet away, so
they would probably spread too much at any other distance. and the
loading process which was, un-screw the barrel shoving a cartridge up it
and then screwing the barrel back on, was way too slow.

I've made an effective paintball shotgun, shoots more like a
slug-gun than a shotgun, but with 6mms it would probably work
pretty good
I took the tips off of stardard 12 gauge steel shot loads (better
wads), drained the BBs, then packed two paintballs into the
wad
The paintballs stay in very well, and the pistol I use to shoot
them has 35-45 yard range, so they pack a decent punch-they
stay in the wad until impact, so its decently accurate


OBVIOUSLY, NOT ALLOWED ON REGULATED FIELDS, NOR
SAFE TO FIRE AT A HUMAN BEING

I've been shot 7 times with it, actually hurts less than a stardard
paintgun, but still, don't use it on someone...but it's still fun to
screw around with
