try cleaning the threads, and use some teflon tape.

So I should use the teflon tape instead of the locktite stuff that came with it or what? I dont think it would do much good using them both. Josh |

dont use both, since you already used loctite, your will have to clean the tubes threads to get it off .... I just so happen to have an un-installed x-chamber right here, how many turns did you get into the chamber ? |

you should have 3 full 360* turns in it. Do you have the GTA, the one that is molded like the grip ? |

Use teflon tape instead. And remember to use it corectly- www.model98.tts2.html TT seals so much better than Loctite. Only use one or the other, and get all the dry Loctite off the threads first. |

Yea I have the GTA one with the vertical adapter and stuff. I put all the rest of the locktite I had around where it screwed it and it seemed to sink in, I let it settle and harden overnight and it seems to be good now, I checked by just hooking a tank up and I didn't hear any leaks. But I will reassemble my gun and let you know if I need help. |

I reassembled it and it still has a small leak around the power tube/valve. I don't have any locktite left. Would it be best to disassemble it and use teflon tape instead or anyother fixes?

^ I have taken apart my X-Core many times, not the Tippmann, but I can imagine they are similar. Why?

Alright this is getting very frustrating. I have just used the Teflon tape like you guys said, put it in the vise and got it tightened up as much as I could and it still leaks a little. Now what....
