I just got my Tippmann 98 custom (camo coloured ) but everything stock.. for now  and I went to the Paint shop and they had the Total Freak there for a good price- it was 230$ (and i live in canada) so i was looking at it but obviously it wasnt for my 98c - but the guy there sed hes gonna order it for me and it will take 3 weeks. So i was wandering about it- is it a good barrel?? accurate and stuff??  Thankx in advance- any advice and stuff on it will be great

stainless or aluminum? for $230 canadian if its stainless thats a great deal,is it used or something?even if its aluminum thats a great price. you want the 14" front anything longer is just a waste.

btw are you new to the sport or did you just get a new gun

I have the full stainless kit and it is seriously good. If you get the match right and keep it. It shoots darts all day long.  I don't think I would go that much for my 98C though. I would get an All American instead ,but to each his own.

RULE #1: Never drop an insert. They ding on the edges and at $15-20 a pop it gets expensive.

RULE#2: Sooner or later someone checking out your kit will drop the insert you were just going to use (or worse puts it away without saying anything). It helps to have doubles of the two or three sizes you really use alot.

Don't go over 14"; it just wastes air. The 10'', 12", and 14" have the same performance. If you play front then go for the 10".  Mid = 10 or 12". Back = 14".

The exact sasme performance means they shoot the exact same......meaning they're all the same accuracy and range wise.
