I have the rt on my marker. When I go to DDay this year. I want to take the sniper course they are offering. So what I am looking for is to be able to shut it off in a flip of a switch. Does any one know of a small enough ball valve or something like that out there.

Just shoot semi. The RT has very controllable semi. You can shoot semi with the RT like you shoot semi with any gun. Or turn up yur RT far past the sweetspot, or just put the silver shut-off screw in.

What do you mean, the silver shut off screw...? Where is it?

Yeah theres a screw with the same dimensions as your normal RT screw, its just silver. This completly shuts it off. It came with your kit in a little bag with the stronger sear spring, hopfully you didnt throw it away.

I'm pretty sure mines not silver, but black. I can't check because I don't have access to the gun right now.

You can do it with your fingernail. Not a problem at all. Also, who cares about the RT just because you're taking the sniper course?

As far as I know there is no shut off switch that is made
for the RT.

However, I did see a thread here a while back that showed
a picture of an old style RT. It had a knurled adjuster
knob, instead of the little tuning screw. I asume they
stopped making them because the settings would get
changed accidentaly. But you might be able to find one
used. It
would be a long shot though. I am also asuming that you
could actually shut the RT completely off with this knob,
knstead of just adjust it
