Here's my Zap POS gun. Horrible inaccurate, loud and is too small for it's canister..It worked for a few rounds of tactical take over games..It's got a 9 Oz tank and HAD an Eagle red dot sight and a cutom camo netting rag job.

Horrible, I know..That's why I'm buying a used Tippmann 98, 98 custom or a pump tommorow..Depending on price ($200 Canadian). I plan on making it into a sharpshooting rig.

Here in BC, we usually play outdoors in wide open forest and feilds, and the rare house invasion game.. So this thing will prove to be quite good later on..I'll post pics of the Tippmann Tommorow..

For Camo gear, I have Canadian issue camo, U.S issue all purpose and Mossy oak breakup rain gear with webbing to hold my paint and radio. I have a nylon gas mask bag to carry other supplys that I may need (Face paint, tools, binos ect)

Here's me in some of the gear at a building take over round.

Buy a tippmann since it looks like you dont have to much expierence in markers, because i think pumps are monsters to break down...(Just me though)

Monsters to break down..definitly not. They're pretty easy to clean and maintian I mean they're the simplest form of a paintball air gun.

We usuallt play in logging roads were they have just cut, so I take the mask off when im on a ridge so I can see better. Mask goes back on when I have to move around..Stupid to take it off, I know..But when I was younger using a Brass Eagle pump I wore nothing on my bean.

I heard the Tippmann pump was a good marker to buy because it was a simple and accurate gun (With a new barrel). Thing is, I don't want it jamming on me. I'm leaving in a bit to go buy my new marker..Should I look into the 98 custom, or the pump? Remember though, I want it to be a sharpshooting marker ^_^

The pump would be a better sharp shooting rifle I guess eh?

The Flatline barrel wont fit though, eh?

i have that gun and i use it as a lender. Its not a pos., because the reason its so inaccurate for you is probably because your using bad paint or you have a bad bore match. Get a pgp or a 98 though. I can make you a 98 too. Heres mine:

That could be the reason, but I have been using Zap paint, barrel's clean..I'll take it appart today and check it out.. But I would like to upgrade my marker to a 98 custom. I'd like to make it a sharp shooter with a Flatline..Because I plan to get a stock, raised sight rail, red dot and scope that i can switch between in a few seconds from a sharp shooter, to a close range marker.

Your Tippmann there is bloody nice, I like the barrel and paint on it. I'd like mine to look like that, but without the flame drop forward tank adapter. But I would probably paint mine a flat green and tie camo netting onto it..Maybe get a power feed if at all possible.

I would buy one off you, but I'm limited on funds. I got $200 Canadian to buy a used one that's stock

If you want a used tippman, go to www.model98.net, look in the classifieds.

Pumps are not more accurate then a semi auto gun. It comes down to the barrel. One with good porting, and proper paint to barrel bore match, will be sharp shooter.

You know, you can use binoculars with your mask on. Ive done it.

Im not sure about the pump. You may begin to miss the spray and pray.

a pump is not any more accurate than a semi-auto marker, go for a custom, that way you can upgrade later on
