Neither-folding stock.  I've used all three, my favorite is definitely the folding stock.  The folding stock when folded makes the marker shorter than a collapsed carbine stock and when extended provides the stability of a solid stock.  (I've got one from Jet City Specialties, but there are other ones out there.)

CAR stocks look like crap, and folding stocks are like putting bicycle pedals on an automobile- either you use a stock or you don't. A folding stock sticks nicely out to the right, making it pointless for play but good for storage. A CAR stock is usually crappy plastic where the neck going into the gun will snap. And they look hideous. That SAW stock would be nice, or an L1A1 stock. An MP5 stock would be great, but they're kinda hard to find now.

Take a close look at the G36 stock, and you will see that it does not have a good fit and will bite into the back of your hand.  Also, it is an adapted airsoft stock and is not as tough as other stocks.
