my brother pickecd my gun up from pur local proshop after it was repaired. he told me the the guy said to connect the air tank to the gun and stick my gun underwater and shoot a few dry shots. will this work? i am asking because my brother has done things like this before and they cost me like $300 so i want to know

idk you could try it...water would go in the gun some though....idk........even if it doesnt work, it shouldnt hurt anything, you would just have to totally disassemble your gun and dry everything REALLY GOOD what was the problem with the gun that they tried to fix?

You can do this to clean the gun. Iv seen video of an AutoMag being stuck under water and fired. Really cool. And it even says you can do this to clean it in the AutoMag/MiniMag manual. Actual quote from the manual, "To quickly clean the marker without disassembly simply use a bucket of clean water and swish the paintball marker body in it WHILE THE PAINTBALL MARKER IS FULLY PRESSUREIZED!..." I would not do this to a Tippmann because the bolts, rear bolt, and anything stell will rust. Its a hell of a lot better to do it the right way. |

I would not do this to a Tippmann because the bolts, rear bolt, and
