Oil the front bolt and the back bolt, and also oil the linkage arm, prettymuch put drops of oil on any moving part.

Sparingly! A drop of oil on the front bolt "O" ring. Smear it around the circumference with your finger. Same thing on the rear bolt "O" ring (hammer). Smear a drop on the outside of the power tube so the forward bolt slides freely. Put two to four drops right down the hole in the ASA, install the bottle and fire 10 to 20 shots with no barrel in place (so no oil gets into the barrel) Edited by Bruce A. Frank |

BTW youre going to run out of the supplied oil pretty soon if you clean and oil your gun after every game like i do. I use hoppes #9 to oil my gun after washing and it gets the buildup of grime etc off of your receiver halves. Of course it should do that because it cleans carbon(is it carbon?) off of a muzzleloader barrel and whatnot...i lost myself anyways when you run out buy some hoppes #9.
