i am picking my gun up tomorrow from gettin the r/t installed and i know using a regular co2 tank will probably freeze my gun up.... i need to know if getting an anti syphon kit will make it so my gun will not freeze or if my only hope is hpa??

It will help a lot, but there is no substitute for HPA.

An anti-siphon will help out alot, but won't completely stop your gun from
freezing by itself.

I had anti siphon and 8 stage spandy on my 98c/RT. Tweaked the trig and worked great at about 70 degrees. Next day was the game, cold front made it about 55-60. First match froze up the RT lines causing it to not work at all. The plunger thing behind the trigger was even frozen in the half back position. Got mad and gave it away to some kid  Ordered HPA the next day.

If you want anything besides the stock trigger system, go HPA.

i dunno y but i have no prob usin my r/t wit co2. it gets frosty but it nevers freezes over to were i cant use it.

I've also never frozen up, but then again I don't lay down paint 100% of the games either.
